Famous Dave`s Bar-B-Que in West Des Moines

My wife and I decided to go out for supper and choose Famous Dave's because they are one of our favorite restaurants. We both had the St.Louis spare ribs. We were disappointed this time because the meat wasn't the fall off the bone tender; the meat was rather tough. Our waitress, Mikaela, provided awesome service. And, as usual, the bread pudding was wonderful.

If you order in the restaurant the food is fantastic. Grubhub seems to always screw up my order . So now we save ourselves the money and go to the restaurant. Love their St Louis Ribs & the chicken is great.

The customer service from beginning to end was absolutely amazing. The food was amazing. Nothing needed to be changed from this experience. Would reccomend this establishment too anyone, great job!

I stopped in here for lunch with my wife and youngest son. There was no wait to be seated and the wait staff was friendly. I did a two meat combo with the ribs and jalapeno sausage. I had sweat corn and mac and cheese for the sides. The food was all good. The mac and cheese was a little weird since it had corn in it as well. Overall it was very tasty bbq.

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are flavorable and the team is generous and cooperative. always when we go to this place we pass a delightful evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Service takes forever, skimpy portions for the price, baked potato came out not fully cooked. They use fake mashed potatoes that taste like a TV dinner.

The meat was juicy and delicious. The restaurant was clean and our server was friendly. It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The bar drinks are wonderful and beautiful. Overall we know we will come back.

The food is amazing! This good fish aren't found nearly anywhere else ! Our waiter Kristin was amazing as well!

While the table seating is good at social distancing. I recommend making a reservation, because the waiting room on Father's day was packed full (no customers wearing masks) Alternatively people could wait in their cars and host staff could call a cell phone when tables are available.

I recently had the privilege of eating at a Famous Dave’s restaurant and I have to say, it’s the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. Normally, I don’t eat out much, but Famous Dave’s is definitely at the top of my list. The customer service is on point, and not to mention the perfectly cooked and super delicious meals that turns a stormy day into bright warm summer deliciousness And is worth every penny.

Big Box Store BBQ. We used to eat here all the time, but with the influx of all the local BBQs we just don’t go there much anymore. It has everything you want, great food at a great price, served by great people. In hockey that’s a Hat Trick. Maybe I would go more if Daves ate free...🏒🏒🏒🏒🥅🥅🥅🥅🐷🐮🐷🐮
